Hello everyone at Usworth Grange I'm in year 10 now and missing the school so much. I'm doing quite well and I'm thinking about going to Usworth Grange for my work experience. I hope I will be able to this as it will bring back so many memories! My brother Ben Ross is in year 2 and he said that he loves the school. Hope to see you all soon if I do come for my work experience bye xx

Is this the same Mr B Peers who was a teacher when I left Usworth Grange (for Usworth Comprehensive) in 1976?? - If so is he the longest-serving teacher at "Uzzy Grange"? - finally any chance of a nostalgia section of the site for former pupils, classes, teachers, sporting achievement, famous pupils etc. - just a suggestion.

Hi peoples!! No-one has left comments for a while now! Oh well, I am now. Anyway, I've got a role in the school play [it's only a small part, because as usual all the main parts go to the older ones lol :D]. It's not a solo part but I'll live hehe. I can't wait to go to the new school! It looks amazing so far!!

Hi all it's just me wanting to see how all the teachers are holding up! Looking forward to the hols I bet lol. I'm still married, 7 years now and still have the one son he is nearly 10 now. Don't know whether you remember my sister Kerri? She has just had the most adorable little girl, Maddison. She is 2 days old now. I would love to come visit but don't know if you are all too busy or not! Let me know if you can all my love xx
(Reply)
Hi Jamie. It's good to learn that you are well. Say congratulations to Kerri. We remember you both well. I think it's true to say that teachers are very busy, as always, and a visit would be difficult right now. However you could drop in towards the end of September (after school is best). Ring the school office just to check first in case of staff meetings etc. Good luck and enjoy the summer.

May I suggest that you might think about adding snap shots of the children. From Connor and Shellby's mam.
(Reply)
Thank you for your suggestion, however we took a staff decision some time ago that we would not publish photographs of children on our webpages.
This was, and still is, because such pictures can be easily copied and dowloaded by anyone, anywhere using simple screen capture techniques.
We feel it is in the best interest of the children in our care, not to make their images public.
